Hi! My name is Bryn, and I am an artist and vegetable farmer based in Burlington, Vermont.

 

My work is a series of simultaneous conversations between me and the relationships I have, the world that surrounds me, and the general exploration of "what matters?". Each piece I create serves as a window into my perception of connection, time, and emotion. Through use of color, figure, shape, and composition, I strive to convey the nuances of my reality—moments of beauty, chaos, sorrow, vulnerability, joy, and what extends beyond verbal measurement entirely. I navigate the tension between isolation and connection, real and not, seen and felt - reflecting the deaths, births, and in-betweens of everyday life. Through this practice, I challenge myself not to answer the questions I have, but find a friend within the space of not knowing and honor my confusion, letting my art fill in the gaps and serve as a language.
